Unemployed ? Not to worry... i have a new meaning for it...

Thousands are still loosing their jobs in the States...
they feel that they are lost somehow... helpless...

Worse still are places like Britain where the 'Royal Mail' staff members are going on strikes... holding on thousands of letters and parcels and they want to hit hard especially during these times of Christmas...
Ohh the Christmas Father will have no work Too ;-(

Being out of work is a way to get deeper from your mundane...
You have a chance NOW... :-) to get deep to your soul...

Meditate... practice silence and internalise...
You Don';t know how glad i feel when i am alone.... when i am contemplating myself and analysing myself....

GROWTH... is NOT possible when you are working.. .atleast not when you are working for money...

I loved this story when in Mumbai... a guy with a degree in Law or something... having no job, decided retreading shoe soles.... Taboo really got to him from all sides.. but he stuck to an idea.. and it gave fruit...

Everyone loves their running shoes.. and in a country where good shoes are a luxury and a great waste to throw away... this guy now actually employs people to wash the old sole.. trim it to an identical height and paste a new sole on it.. and walla...
Good as new.. and... AND.. at quarter it's retail new price...

what a genius...

Being unemployed is NOT a misfortune... its a chance to be alittle more you... alittle more spiritual...

I used to work in my GrandPa's construction line in Mombasa Kenya...
i used to be incharge of wall tiles selection... mechanic department,,, as a purchasing supervisor for hardware items from wood, nails to twisted iron bars to galvanised roofing sheets to doors to window louvers to glass.. you name it... i know it...
from computer maintenance and Internet surfing cafes in our hotel.. to guest relations and conference management for the British Council...
(Psst... ask for the Janak 10% discount at Manson Hotel in Mombasa :-)

i was OUT there.. learning and giving my all... but i was NOT living a Happy life... not really.. just doing what needed to be done... since we shifted to India... i sell Aloe Vera products with my dad now ...
My father made the formulas and i design labels and marketing strategies and even Pushed in 'feed a child a meal' with ever sale that we make...

i learn and learn ... Droping my Ego.. and promise myself everyday.. that "i want to learn something Awesome today.." and indeed i Do...
At-least Spiritually i do... i go to bed; having a fulfilled spiritual thirst...
and i am still claiming "i don;t know a thing about the world..."
Coz that;s how i realise my gifts... that;s how You will realise your's...

Don;t take your unemployment as a waste... take it as an opportunity... live up to the standard of Infinity... something that even scientists will agree to... that we only use soo much of our brains... the rest is just stale... unfiring neurons...
Don;t complain about the government and the recession... that is too much for you to fix.. let go... and accept your chance to be in a better place to choose... awaken a-new, revised.. revitalised...

Be spiritual... be giving... DROP the ego Baby.... stop robotic stuff... that is for amateurs... leave those tasks for the beginners... assign work and MOVE aside easily, don;t be a perfactionist All the time... just take alittle bit care in the detail... and accept and adjust....
Move on when it comes to that... but stop staring at doors that are closed or closing... and ride life with a new Zest !!!

Awareness and the sound of Joy and Love in your ears...
Deepak Chopra said that "people are doing their best. based on their level of awareness".

Well then.. aware yourself;

Sometimes.. i think... Chaos... is when the butter is yielded... think about it...
don;t get attached with the bad... the process, that one bad; that out of a hundred good.. we tend to spot that one bad... and magnify it... it;s a bad habit...

Be real... BE humble... and be pure with your heart now.. and live your life like a King...

The money is still on Planet earth... no one has taken bags of it out to mars... !!!
It;s still on earth... do what is Needed and not what is wanted by Your ego.. by your certificates...

Today i met an old lady while i was parked on the side of the road...
She asked for directions of a particular shop...

At first when i saw her... i said to myself... 'oh here comes another beggar...'
put up my fake smile as she got closer... and responded to her question and went "phew she didn’t ask for money..."

But then i thought... wait a min... what am i truly...?
This Poem is inspired by today's event...

What is a man in the desert.. but a beggar of water to quench His thirst...

What is a man on the streets... but a beggar to feed his belly...

What is a man in any profession... but a beggar to feed his livelihood; his immediate family (his senses) and his further family...

What are our cells, but beggars to be feed nutrients...

A fertilised egg begs the womb to be a child...

What are we... really... if there was no one to give...

if the earth decided not to fruit its trees

if the winds decided not to be free...

if the waters decided not to be clean

if the sun decided not to warm...

Beggars... Beggars... Beggars... !!! we are all beggars to begin with

The sun can be one true giver... atleast...
for it burns itself up to give...

but just like a dying star that it was built from to begin with...

it also begged once before and condensed to a star after the millions of years of begging... begging black matter for hydrogen...

Just like a devoted mother begs the God to give her a good child..

we are only givers when we have something... ALREADY... and hence...
never be afraid to ask.. to beg... to shed your ego; to fall on your feet,
for blessings account for all that exists... and blessings come to the pious.. to the beggars.. to those who belittle themselves...
to those who become valleys.

For what is a vessel but an absence of substance that it wants to carry...

Know what you want to carry.. and be a valley baby... :-)
ALWAYS.. !!!

OK. OK... not much of a rhyming poem... but you get the drift....

(the picture above is of an African Garden that i would like to have in my backyard...
Plants begging the earth to be buds, then begging time to bloom them... then to wither away in dirt again to be food for the next time of times...)

Know what you want to carry; (know your dream...) and always be pious and beg my friend.... :-) Beg till your heart feels no more resentment... and you will become one with your giver.. ;-)

I wish he were alive... anyway...

A comprehensive cohesion of the two.. pain and pleasure...
Most that have loved and lived :-) will agree to this... YEt.. that is the only way to great HEights...

To fight for something better.. to move on.. to let go for the sake of the love that you have soo deeply kindered for.. to let them breathe and to know that they are safe; that is the great art of FORGING that takes place when 2 people are in Love...

THey take on attributes of each other... and if the growth levels are of similar speeds... one can spend a lifetime with the other...
otherwise... as they say... the world is a schooll and the classrooms your events in life...
you can choose to learn from them; or have them kept repeated on you... you have a choice.. and that is the principle truth... you have a choice to CHOOSE a path...
isn;t it wonderfull !!!
YEt you also have to know when to STEP up.. when to let go of the Kindergarten and height yourself to the university...

Being in Love is the greatest classroom... you have emotions throwing you back and forth.. left right and centre... !!!
Love is the best teacher; for it makes you FORGET who you are... it makes everything LESS important... its almost like dying.. yet the breathing is on.. it;s still beating the heart is... even though it;s not at times... :-)

Too much is being said; and written and pronounced and I just want to make a sorta final blog… there is more I think in commenting and responding then in announcing…

Just random thoughts that will pop in my mind…

Hear goes…

Life is short; my dear soul;
don’t you waste years on encapsulating stuff.
What you feel is worthy to your satisfaction; time and energy wise… is just a temporal bliss.. if you don’t realise this… then you are no more then a machine programmed to move upon energy rifts…
+ and minus… rotate under a magnetic force of north and south…
life and death …. reincarnate under a universal force of compassion and compulsion

we are here to do one thing…
to silence…

to silence the demons within us… the ignorant mind; is the greatest enemy to your soul
to fear it’s every thought is what needs to done by your consciousness…
people say; adverts say… do it…
do it now…
follow your dream…
follow your passion…

these are words to be feared… (by an ignorant mind)
for to a thief… robbing the Fort Knox is a dream…
for to an adulterer… passion burns deep
for to a non-veg… killing is as easy as pealing a banana
for to an alcoholic… the free champagne bottles on an airplane are like his life long achievements.
(I so dislike that… when a guy calls on the air-hostess to ask for Whisky…)

Achievements…
Should be those of selflessness; yet with knowledge of the types of people and their characters… face reading was a very good way of doing this… my father can tell a persons character before s/he even says anything… He just looks at a person and he knows…
The face is a summary of the thoughts that a person thinks… the best of wo/men who had enlightenment look different then the normal faces around… I’ll give you an example…
Look at the faces on Facebook; or myspace… and look on the faces of Gaia… ;-)

Achievements…
Should be those of altruism… to sacrifice for the other… to give importance to the other to feel others pain… we are universal conciousness…

Atleast admit that we originated in Africa… ;-)
austerity goes hand in hand… it’s when you do have enough food for you on the plate.. yet you do Not eat it…
It’s when you do have money in your pocket; but don’t spend it on fashion trends… advertisements and announcements of discounts are temptations to the mind… achievement is when you are not bought by your mind…by you compulsions.

Achievement …
Should be of non violence… that starts with your diet… any thing that has a brain.. even an ant… feels Pain… I don’t care how much wise you are… you are doomed to negative karma; when you kill to have a meal…

There are more fruits and vegetables and nuts and grains and roots that you could spend hundreds of lifetimes to explore… why kill something alive for your satisfaction… and you want to expect nothing to hinder your path to spirituality… ???
To exert pain… onto another living thing… even small nuisance insects and crawling creatures is a crime… Non-violence is the supreme religion…

Now non-violence has categories too…
Non-violence through speech, (cursing)
Through touch (fighting)
Through tastes (intoxicants, non-veg cuisines)
Through sight (eg lust projection or intake)
Through smell (this is a link with taste… for 80% of taste is smell…)

Trust me… if you feel pain… in anyform… it’s a result of your past karam; you messed up; indulged in greed; envy, lust, sloth etc and hence you pay the price…

The closer you are to God; the closer the eye on your character by the universe…

When you become God friendly… you become popular; popular to the angels; to the devotes;
hell even the demons start fearing ya… ;-) but when, out of shear compulsion; we do what we do… we are black listed and are thrown back much further then an average sinner…

It’s like a bowl of milk…
Even a small drop of poison makes the whole bowl of milk sour/poisonous…
Yet a bowl of poison can’t be contaminated “more” or less; it just needs to be thrown away… reincarnated… or atleast blessed by a true saint to nullify the toxic of millions of years of desires…

Fable time

Clothes that are small and soft; need not much soap (much pain)…
Yet clothes that are thick and full of dirt; need hot water and be left to pre-soak in plenty of soap (plenty of lessons of pain)…

Pots need to be fired; before they can retain and cool the water that they will carry.
(Mosses walked in the desert for a long time before he was given the 10 commandments)

THere is a train…
there is a sack of sugar…
there is a porter dragging the sack across the station
there is an ant
and… there is a donkey…
when the sack is being dragged; the ant can taste the sugar… it literally fills itself up to its heart content… full of bliss; content to its desire… it is full of tranquility.
Now there is this donkey… it never gets to taste the sugar… never gets to feel the bliss; to even feel; let alone full in tranquility… why…?

Similarly… a soul by itself can never swim to the other side; it will definitely drown in Maya (illusion) but once it’s attached to a true Guru; or God; then it can float ashore on the otherside… (To God)

a very important lesson that i have learnt… to keep Him first… yet play the loosing game… i use the word loosing because we are going to pass away one day… and i use the word game because life is just that; to win happiness; wealth; health; etc with respect to set rules and guidelines of Dharma.

Pure Love can only be felt when we belittle ourselves… make ourselves humble; vunarable like an ant; and sometimes… that is also a risk that we take… when loving someone of the world…
Pure love; if you ask me; has to be with God… for it's His creations; we are… and if we don;t live for or love Him first; what message are we sending Him…
