Rakhe_on_my_hand
Today is a joy flled day called Raksha Bandhan...

a day where sisters tie a small string to their brothers... representing a tie of remembarance; that they (the brothers) have to take care of their sisters in times of need..

the festival's roots are from very far and deep from the scriptures... if you really want to go deep click below:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raksha_Bandhan

PLease go deep ;-)

Thank you...

PS.. .THat's me hand... with two strings tied by my two sisters...
although i have many virtual sisters that i share the same feeling with... i find praying for them the best way to keep them protected...

it's a joyfull day today...
plant a tree if you are reading this...

i planted 1 just now...

(OK OK not yet...
but  i'm going i'm going...)

Jeez
being authentic means being responsible... and that is something that we lack these days... lets start on us... lets be responsible for the negative on this earth...
the positive, needs not our attention...

Baby_krishna
Today... the 13th of August is the day before Lord Krishna appeared on earth...
Everybody knew that tomorrow... he was going to be born because of prophesies and hence every one forgot to make food on that day.. and that is the reason in indian culture... there is a fast on Janmashtami...and indeed on all festival days...

Walk

"W" for witness everything that you see as you walk.
"A" accept whoever comes to greet you as you walk.
"L" love whoever and whatever is coming and also as importantly
"K" know yourself...

Someone asked Gandhi... what is the greatest danger after independance... and He replied.. "Heartless Intelectuals"

Are we intelignet... ?
yes?
then are we heartfull...?

As i explore oneness in this world.. i want to guide you here...

THis site is being maintained by my uncle in the UK.. and he has done considerable research into ethnic backgrounds and cultural conflicts... and their root causes...

I would atleast suggest that you look up YOUR own religious or cultural back ground and try to realise how rich it is... what and were it has conflicts... and share this knowledge...

Thank you...
PS... He was awarded the Ambassador for Peace recently...
