A true measure of a man... How much of a 'She' he can be.
Assuming that God is a He, (most religions agree to this... see Bedazelled) and that this Lord is such that 'He creates, sustains and destroys an infinite amount of galaxies, yet, not even a blade of grass can be torn off the ground without His consent'.
Then how do you quantify yourself, what qualifications do you have, that will make you different from the crowd?
She is for compassion - never letting go, always giving it time
She is for believing - it will one day, be all okay
She is for loving unconditionally - and if it takes sacrifice, so be it
She is for understanding - the truth yet respecting others viewpoints
She is for wisdom - gathered from the beginning of time till the end of space
He's happy He is; within or without you..., but one more soul praising His name; that's all it takes for Him to allow this whole world to go on... you, me and several millions of others out there, are playing our part in adoring Him, and so He has no choice, but to let the world be, the way it is, otherwise, He would have snapped His fingers long time ago, and the world would have seized to exist... but He sees the soul in you and me, and what we can do... and so He awaits patiently for us, to surcome to His dream.
I mean, He employ's these great scientists (by paying them in a currency of light) and they in turn create these cosmoses, and at times He would be impressed by one of them, and would belittle Himself, hiding His true power like a chameleon and would be born amongst us, mingle with use and tell us how to live our lives..
I'll go straight to the point... Premanund swami was such a saint, he used to be know as Prem-sakhi by the Lord, which directly translated means 'Prem-she-friend'. His family was never known of, but was adopted by a Muslim couple and hence his charm in the urduh language.
I have translated as many as I can in these short Easter holidays, and I believe you will be charmed too.
Take a look at Akshar Amrut also... He the ‘prem-she' wrote that too.
Also the stanza beginning like ‘oh my gullible lover' was sung by him in the blog previous to this.
(I listen to BBC radio a lot, forgive the elegant sentence structures)

It's said that, when the Lord disappeared from this Earth, Premanund Swami cried tears of blood; his remaining days were passed in excruciatingly painful songs of longing... of which I have tried translating one of them.

Incidentally, you must have noticed that I write and comment more often;... that's because I have an HP Laptop Model 530... weighing not more then 3 K.G. (6.6 pounds) Dual core, 512 MB RAM....why am I boring you with these silly details? well I realized something, that when I carry it around with me, I switch hands every 5 minutes, for my hand would get tired of holding it and so I have to switch hands; it was supposed to be the lightest in the market.
And to carry an even more amount of weight, in the form of life; within you; for nine months! It's simply beyond me; I don't know how you women do it...
Much respect to the feminine.
And a small taunt on the males... "just shut-up at times, let them do what they want to; only God qualifies to see their faults."

I'm sure I have missed someone out who is more special then I know of now... and so I'm leaving a whole page free for them to be added later.
Another coincidence, it's 12:30AM the 24-03-08. The day Jesus rose; and it just started to rain heavily (lightening and all)... He was an equalitist, saw man women and especially children with the eyes of divinity.

…so cute, Janak! Lovely blog again.
Window open… :)
Jesus….He was also a feminist… not many know this.
I think he was an equalitist ? :)
My favorite …. he invited the prostitutes in for dinner. He loved and accepted everyone for who they were.
Most importantly he loved the children. Apparently had one of his own, after his death that was hidden too. A little girl I hear. :)
no she, no he… just we. see?
Ozymandias:
Put simply
s/he…
Bluewater:
i stand corrected (again)… He was an equalitist…
Thank you for correcting ME. Many of your thoughts and ideas from your religion and culture, are very appreciated, Janak. I have really learned a lot from your blogs. Your discipline is so admirable. You have inspired me to be vegan and opened my eyes to a new way of dress. I am going to wear my Sari in Los Angeles tomorrow, and spread the word of comfort and freedom, peacefully. You have successfully as you say “drained me?” :)
Thanks,
Peace from around the world,
J
Janak, this is so interesting, as are so many of your posts. Lovely, and it will take me awhile to really take a look at it.
Just to throw this out there: Please look up “feminist” in the dictionary. It simply means a person who believes that men and women should have equal economic, political and social rights. Perhaps we should replace the word “feminist” with the word “equalist,” which more correctly reflects that meaning. I think the philosophy was called “feminist” because in order to bring balance to society, more rights of women had to be recognized. But every change necessitates a look at the lot of men as well. Men are forced into so many social roles in a ridiculous way. Why should I go find my husband to do something that I could do? I am an Equalist!!! :)
Thank you…thank you.
Dearest J, I love it all. Especially this…I love this so much…
“She is for compassion - never letting go, always giving it time
She is for believing - it will one day, be all okay
She is for loving unconditionally - and if it takes sacrifice, so be it
She is for understanding - the truth yet respecting others viewpoints
She is for wisdom - gathered from the beginning of time till the end of space”
“She is for understanding - the truth yet respecting others viewpoint” made me think and see that each of us are evolving in our own way… and yes, respecting others viewpoint no matter how uncouth we may think it is, is actually the thing that will foster more growth all around….
“Much respect to the feminine.” I say, much respect to the masculine for writing this!!
“And a small taunt on the males… “just shut-up at times, let them do what they want to; only God qualifies to see their faults.”
Lol. Love this…this is my guy's philosophy in fact. But he will also tell you that when he takes such a stance, I just shut up and let him do what he wants…he is my God after all…
Okay, sweet lil bro…. Thanks for this lovely blog.
Amy :-)
Beautiful!
Thank you! :-)))))
As had been said ozymandias said it wonderfully and bears repeating!
“no she, no he… just we. see?”
Huge blessings and thanks for this!
David
Dear One, I hope you have read my comment on the “Peculiars…” blog, so I will not repeat, only refer to my comment there again as it applies here as well. I will also point out that Toa stated the truth that male and female are the One split. We are opposing and equal, you cannot have one without the other; all the qualities you praise in the feminine cannot be experienced, cannot exist without the opposing and equal male qualities. When all are awakened to the true essence of the formless One Source the masculine and feminine will once again unite, there is no need for any seperateness, no duality when we all join as one with the audible life stream.
No gods, no masters, just BE. I am you, you are me, we are one. I am god, you are god, god is us, god is in us we are all.
Bluewater:
“The earth is known as the blue planet for the atmosphere only reflects the blue color and absorbs the other spectrum's…”
“More than 70% of the Earth is water”.
Your name suggests that of the endless amounts of “water” that the “Earth” has, and to hear from you that you have been drained of it… very funny. I merely ‘heated' your surface so that clouds would form and fall as rain in many different places…
maybe I should rename my title to read “the water heater”… hey we have cold water in the shower!… no problemo call crudebliss, ‘the water heater' :-)
(Stop giggling Amy)
Long overdue recipe for red beans.
This serving is of one person
3 handful's of red beans preferably fresh
(or you can have them soaked in water overnight if you find only dried ones at your local)
1 tomato
1 very small piece of ginger
1 tablespoon of sugar (or if you can find malt sugar, then a small piece of it will work even better)
1 fresh chili pepper (if you want it spicy… other wise, just use a small piece from one)
(4 leaves of basil plant if you can get them)
Make the tomato into 4 pieces and place them in the grinder.
Place the small piece of ginger in the grinder too.
Put 1/4 teaspoon of salt (or less)
Put 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder
Grind now to a paste
Cut the Cilli peper into small pieces
Place the rinsed red beans in a cooking container (preferably a pressure cooker)
pour the tomato paste in the container
put the cut chili's in the container too.
put ene tablespoon of sugar in with it or the small piece of maltose in the container.
Let it cook for ½ hour to ¾ hour stirring the cooking after every 15 min (or In the case of the pressure cooker, till the cooker whistles, 3 times and let it cool for 10 min before openning)
Take a bean from the cooking to see if its cooked (The beans are cooked if you can squish them easily.)
Let the beans cool for 10 min.
Cut the basil leaves into tiny pieces and top them on the beans…
You can now have them as they are or with allitle yogurt if you prefer, mixed with it.
(OK removing my cook's hat, untying my apron, and folding it away…)
Oh my God… I just typed that out loud again….
Now everyone will call me Janak the cooking Goddess, 'Janki Devi'.
~Control yourself Shunya Devi!~
Alan:
What ever happened to my tongue, I mean I thought it was of gold before … :-)
One faith; yes of course, one faith, one religion - compassion, one goal - self-realization…
Jennifer:
I believe what you are saying is that age old Sanskrit word 'Aham Brahmasmi' which means I am God. The Lord did say that there are 3 types of devotees, one who sees me from a far 'Ekantic Bhakta', one who is very near me 'Param Ekantic Bhakta' and lastly one who is merged with me 'Anadi Mukta' ; like sugar and milk.
Very true. We should aim for the highest always….
I am pleased that I am coaberated in ancient text, I have intuited my understandings of the universe; I am not a student of any guru living or dead. The infinite cannot be imprisoned in books or in the ancient understandings of long dead mystics. These writings are a good place to start your journey, but like the small child at some point you must release the hand that steadies you and walk on your own. Again, Dear One, I am not trying to offend your understandings they have a place, I am simply trying to expand those understandings. PEACE
Expand my understanding; all the time… Jenny…. may i call you that Jennifer…?
Ahh and i forgot to add a half a glass of water in the cooking of read beans yesterday … sorry …. Janie… just
rinse the mixer with the tommato paste with 1/2 glass of water and pour it in the cooking container…
A true measure of a man & how much of a 'She' he can be …
CAN SURELY be ascertained by OPENING THE DOOR …
… and I **loved** the music clips :-)
She is my favorite singer… (thanks for the video Ariela - Children)
What an awesome tribute… and so poetic, creative, and tantalizing, too! All I can say is… WOW!
