A 'Nari' in a 'Sari' - nothing more divine....
Ever since I was little, I used to sneak into the dressing room just before we used to go out on Sundays and used to watch mum-my wear the sari, at times she would make fun of me and would wrap it around me; of course she thought I would be ashamed and would never return the next Sunday, but you know how innocent children are, they can't differentiate between right and wrong, they only recognize love, and go where there's abundance of the same.
At times I remember sitting with her and chewing on one end of the sari until my mouth was full of it, of course she would slap me real hard when realizing this and force me to regurgitate the garment, but I would still do the same again; after all ...., "children only recognize love, and go where there's abundance of the same."
The sari is a long piece of unstitched cloth reaching 4 to 9 meters in length, it's the native clothing of the Indian woman. After much pondering I came up with the photo's you see below to show you that divinity is hidden in every woman, and the sari definitely brings it out in full throttle.
I have purposely chosen women that are ‘Not' Indian in the pic's above to use a weapon I call jealousy; a poet once said that ‘there's no need for water, no need of soap, jealousy used correctly, will cleanse one and all'.
Let this blog be a 'small taunt' to Indian women, that while you opt for new wears, woman from different walks of life are exploring our native ways. 'You'll never fit in a vessel that you aren't carved off of.' a great saint.
We are generating a voice of ‘less is better' of course it's better, but less of what..? less of greed, anger, hate...that's what needs to be less...
I'm creating an album called ‘A nari in a sari'; send me a buzz if you want to wear one and in some future time of gloom, i shall send you Your picture again and make you remember who you truely are.....
One day Lord Swaminayaran was displeased with the devotees of Gadhpur, and so made His way to a nearby village of 'Kanetar'. Brahmanund swami and Sura Khachar went looking for Him after He didn't return the next day. Learning of this, the Lord Himself hid in a barrel wearing a woman's cloths that He adopted from nearby, He came out of the barrel in a ladies posture and started to mingle with the ladies of the village. While He was mingling, Sura Khachar (being familiar with the village) asked 'the first lady and the third lady I know of their husbands, but who is the second lady, the villagers answered, She has no husband... upon hearing this the Lord (now dressed as a She) Laughed and started to undress from the woman's clothing.... upon seeing this, Brahmanund Swami extraordinarily started to sing the following:
Vaatala-di raho-ne raatala-di, vahlaa poochhu ek vaataladi............
My Lord I need to ask you something; do you realise where have you passed the night?
Pitaambar saathe maraa preetam, sari laavya navi bhataladi............
You usually wear a yellow silk cloth my love; but I ask you; who gave you the ‘sari' that you undress with now?
Moraladi lai-ne maunmohan, didhu velen kone daataladi...........
You used to roam with a flute in your hand, but today I see you with a sickle and a rolling pin, and why have you accepted the same in the first place?
Jene gher rajani tame jagyaa, kon hati teni jaataladi.............
You used to awake in a palace, but who is the fortunate cast member that got to see you awake in his home?
Brahmanund kahe sanshay thayo nahi, dhanya chhe tamaari chhaataladi.........
Blessed is your vision of indifference; sings Brahmanund, that thy being the Lord of the worlds, didn't even feel ashamed of these acts.
Lets make the world a divine place to be with, it starts with you my Llove (Lords love).
May this blog be a mirror to as many women as possible who need to see themselves of what they truly are.

I absolutely love this style of cultural dress. I find it incredibly attractive, soft and comfortable.
But women need DIVINE FREEDOM first, therefore what they decide to wear should be up to them, as individuals. O, I prefer cotton and natural fibers, but if someone wants to wear something that is not the best choice for her skin, health or environment. That should be her choice…
But thank you for this blog. I think I am going to make one similar for myself…I like white…it is free of dyes :) I will send a picture. What a lovely idea!
Women are divine no matter what they wear. We bear the children…for God…the finest privilege.
And mother earth is divine, Men and women just need to love her with projects like this…together.

Beautifully done and very well said. Any Any action on the part of individuals in an action that moves the collective forward. Thank you for your conscious effort to move us all forward; because you have definitely provide steps for me.
Thank you so much my loved one. Here is something for you to look at also. Sorry for the quality and no full length shot… I didn't intend to go public with it! But you too can see I believe. Love you very much friend. Sherri
Thank You so very much, Beloved.
No, I never forget my Divinity…I am growing into it more and more with each passing day.
Thank You for this blog, this reminder…for all the Hurt Women on this Earth….You are Loved and Divine!
~Namaste~
Thank you very much for this blog, Sherri!
I will keep in touch with you for more information about the story about women.Go on here www.natural-villages.org and you can read many stories.

Oh you romantic, you! What a fun and philosophical approach. I enjoyed your pictures. Thanks.
Anyway, what IS a “nari”? Is a “nari” extraordiNARIly wonderful?
Why a 'Nari' is a Woman in Sanskrit…..
Is a “nari” extraordiNARIly wonderful?
You bet…
so when are you sending me your pic in one?
Matinde, thank you so much! I've started to collect stories of incredible humanistic stories and examples of the possibilities in people. I'm going to start up a pod on it here soon. So feel free to send me clips, links, other stories of wonderful things 'simple ' everyday people are doing that defy their circumstances! Ok everyone!
Thanks again. Sherri
I, too see the timeless beauty of this sheer flowing feminine attire…the Indian sari… (No kidding…it's phenomenal indeed…my guy gets divinely tuned in whenever I'm in one of these garments…If I was Nature, I would surely bow to the inventor of this feminine flowing gown…
But will anyone agree with me that the real beauty of this world is that a woman should be free to wear whatever she wants to wear…even her birth suit?
Because from what I have seen so far, a woman is certainly beautiful no matter what she wears. Even men's clothes make her look more feminine and divine… and if anyone wants to look down upon her for fulfilling herself by wearing what she so desires, he/she might certainly missed the real inner beauty… so what more could I say…?
Oh yes… here is mine
Sherri, you look simply divine in yours…
Ariela, where is yours?
PS: I love that crown-like hat on the photo captioned “My Love”….it's sooo divine…mmm…my guy wore a similar one on our wedding day…
Goddess, thank you! And you look beautiful in yours! Yes I agree with the degree of beauty and femininity I feel when I'm dressed in that way, but I would love the freedom to just drop it and walk in the sunshine into the sea at will also. Yes, you've just been made privy to my only unfulfilled fantasy to date hahah
The world's apparently not quite ready for that yet… I really do need to work on getting that private beach sorted hahaha
Take care. Sherri
Thanks Sherri… lol…so cool…it's my fantasy too…well umm…for the ocean i.e….(Psst…Demerara water was not so lucky…)
I say, go for it, gorl…make the water sweeter….well er…as soon as you get your private beach sorted….otherwise the tourists might think that “Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love” has risen once again from the foam… :-))
Love to you.
Amy
Ummm….it's like CrudeBliss says…it's a taunt to us Indian women, LOL.
I have never worn a sari…I am culturally deprived and challenged, but I vow to you this… that in a few weeks (Springtime) I will go looking for one and upload my pic then.
I have also decided to have a whole new wardrobe this Spring/Summer…filled with flowing garments so I can bask in the Glow and Glory of my Divinity ;-)
And let me tell you, that sweet little taunt not only worked, it gave me the urge to go shopping…lol… see what you started CrudeBliss?? Yes, you're absolutely right. I for one, feel like a little girl getting dolled up….. one just can't help but be feminine and divine outfitted in a sari.
So here is to you, Ariela. Happy shopping and a whole spring of wonders to make up for all you missed out on…
hee hee This is fantastic. See the influence a strong man has on a woman… ok, several women?! I'm like rifling through my wardrobe looking at sari like garments that I can put together for the next event I have to go to!
Here's another shot that's already in my collection. It's with my good friend Colleen from the UK, who is doing a toga variation. This style really is very ladylike and dignified. Nice to see that men appreciate it as well. [Shouldn't matter but sometimes it does hahaha]
We're going to start a Global Women's Sari Community next! Have a great day everybody! Sherri
Well, come to think of it, I actually dress somewhat influenced by the sari anyway…I wear sarongs all through summer…I'm just missing the scarf part thingy.
:-D
Hot! This blog…well…why else am I here to make another comment? Oh…yeah….I also came to see Sherri's lovely greek goddess number…omg…I want one of those…!!
Okay, all you other Goddess-es…put your sexy er ….put your sari on….
Yeah….Crudebliss is bringing sari back…yeah…
hey boy, Do you know what you started? I just came here to party….
But now we're rocking on your blog floor, with our sari…
the gorls a-shaking thier waists, while the music play…
lol.. I better not disfigure those lyrics anymore or RiRi and J.T. will sue my hide for what little I have put aside for my next sari…
Ok, I showed up for the party in my sari :) You'll have to visualize it until I get a picture of me wearing it. I attend several Hindu celebrations a year so I have been adding to my collection! I love, love, love these.

Shunya Devi….. Sherri…. Janie….
I think I'm allittle late but this comment was to appear just after Shunya Devi, Sherri and Janie decided they'd rather be in their ‘Natural Suite'.
Any way I took up 2 hours in the night to create this comment so; here it is:
O why do women always wish for things that are 'off the charts', if more women were to think like you, then Versace, and Gucci will fall to the ground, besides the lord said that 'the men shall cover their body with 2 pieces of clothes, one to cover the top and the other; the bottom'; boy if I could only get my hands on Salman Khan; I would slap him silly….
'The women are to cover their bodies such that their breasts, navel and thighs are not visible.' I think you three have dropped on earth by mistake while u were on your way to ‘satyalok' and are going to squander the human race with your intentions. :-|) You should be packed (wraped in bubble bag - Industrial bubble bag - for they have big soft air bubbles - pop- I think I squashed one right now) and sent home where you can be one with the air you breath. The male of the humankind is still in a very primitive stage, we tend to go for things that are unreachable, ‘to boldly go where no man has gone before'. And I think that clothing makes it that much harder for him to reach his g(o)als, so we dance with our silly grooves and mesmerize you with our inventions just to make you take them off - sounds silly doesn't it… but its true…. The internet is at its best right now simply because of 2 things, pizza and porn…. Programmers were able to program away in to the night without having to cook, or wash dishes etc…. and the bandwidth requirements grew exponentially because of pornographic downloads… these 2 simple things made us reach where we are; now…. Stupid I know… in fact I've been telling this from day one of my blog.
————————————————
1. Thought of the Day
I start my journey here by describing how everything in this world has two sides and that you will have to deal with the opposite of what you desire. The message of infinity is also mentioned; and the true thing you should want in this world announced.
————————————————–
Agreed woman do have a right to choose their clothing's, what I'm trying to say is; divinity is reflected and seen to beam on the viewer of the woman in a sari… and so you have this sort of - “I am actually ‘This' divine”; how about you understand me & respect me for that - and at the end we have a win win - “I am actually……”; and “OK I shall treat you as such… ” phenomena going….
Does it make sense?
Anyway, mine; is to politely say to the Indian Woman of taday, that 'it's ok; don't shy away from our native way! we'll dig you (probably more) even if you wear the age old garment…

By the way… very good pictures in deed… you all are, as I saw your spirits' to be.
Janak, don't worry we get it. We are so definitely being playful, and appreciative too actually. I do really want to get to the place where it's no longer about body parts and seeing the human form as something to disrespect and ridicule… It's unfortunate the slide mankind has gone down. We can only continue to pray for morals to become a part of our thinking as we continue on this path of enlightenment for ourselves and this world as a whole. Thanks again for being so honest with us Janak. You are living up to your name! SC
Ooooo…. Pretty, I want one. I think I'd hang myself before figuring out how to put it on, but it would be worth it if I could get a picture! There is nothing more divine to the feminine than making yourself feel and look pretty - that's my motto!
namaste
Thea
Okay, I had to go have a quick self education on this, and…
I'm definitely a Lengha type of girl, LOL ;-) Not that there aren't beautiful sari's…just that I'm a little more revealing than that, LMAO.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, men who can't control their urges is the reason why they came up with making women wear burkas. When they decide that they get jealous over other men staring at their women's eyes, they'll come up with something to cover those too. Oh wait…there's the full body burka, with heavy netting the woman can barely see out of, in a nice heavy thick Black, I might add.
While the men in these hot countries, are chilling in light white clothing.
Hmph.
=) I cut my feminist rant short ;-)
'so you were playing with me Sherri and Shunya devi….'
…. i like to play too… but mine is of a tougher, more lover like, tighter grip, yet lighter at the heart kind of play….
{Please check your heart beat}
Dj. Play some music….
Could it be…..
- That I understand survival, and that mine remains at the hands/feet of women; for I see their power and their potential and hence I; (my soul) silently observed them in my infancy and now I know exactly what when and how to speak & act.- That I'm some psychological phenomena; that you admire, and that I use time and space as my two pawns to play with you; your mind and ultimately your soul; to drain you of your love by flooding you with this immense symphony of words that you've never heard, do like to hear but never dare ask to be played for you.
- That I cover my self with your surroundings so that you revile your darkest/brightest secrets as would an ordinary being; knowing s/he is alone not being watched.
- That I could have invented the atom bomb in my past life; and now I have to pay my debt to the world by showing them an equivalent amount of love.
{Please check your heart beat}
NO!
- I am my Lords Love, I know this because I feel it. Smile in the morning, cry tears when I adore Him (during pooja) close my eyes at times when I drive, take my wheel my Lord.
- I listen to His every word, His every command, and when He asks of me, I shall dance, oh that divine dance that would last my life time.
- I don't care about the rewards of my acts, for I'm His true servant - I mean, I would trade your copper coin for a gold one any time, if it makes you happy; for I know, my true wealth is in Righteousness and that worldly wealth stays exactly that; worldly. In fact, I despise pleasures of this world in a way, for they make me busy in their union and so I forget Him and that eventually always leads to my sadness; but the Lord says that ‘thao shall accumulate wealth as to suffice 7 generations under you, that's like allot of money… 10 to the power 7…. that keeps me motivated in business.
- I'm born of a cast that of Kshatriya, for I'm a Patel… I'm to cultivate virtues like :
'Shourya' - courage, bravery
'Dhairya' - tolerance, nobility, dignity, might
'Titiksha' - endurance towards life's ups and downs, ability to work hard, stability, power.
'Brahmanya' - to respect a Brahmin as a messenger from God.
PS this was written yesterday 18-3-08 the day of Ekadashi… what a coincidence…..
OK I shall stop playing with you now.
{please check your pulse}
told you I could play with your heart (rate :-)
By the way thank you to the following people…….
I mean I'm ‘a romantic' as per say by Martha, ‘a charming small brother' as per Amy, ‘a man with the golden tongue' as per Alan, ‘a beloved and divine' as per Ariel, ‘the perfect act of Llove' as per Janie, (She actually came up with this short abbreviation - Janak + Janie + Love = Janel - very establishing in my mind). ‘a sweetie' by Thea, ‘a son' by Kathy, ‘a lover of the sweet feminine divine' by Kate, ‘a Beautiful sweet Angel of light' by Shaton and many more who will comment on this blog
….you decided to play in my blog ground and make it as popular as it is so thank you.
These are some of the tracks that I adore: I should write a blog on my favorite inspirational tracks… may be later…
thinking of the troubles of today, is it easier to put that gun away,
or is it difficult to stop the world and show that you care,
everything and everyone we know is beautiful,
surely you'll be the God who'd like to save us all,
may be we can be the vision of a Prophets mans dream!
Chorous
we've got to keep this world together!
got to keep it moving straight.
love like we mean forever,
so that people can relate.
if you're rolling to your left,
don't forget I'm on the right.
trust and forgive each other,
allitle love and we just might!
Seal. Get it Together
you see under that clear blue sky,
the winds of change are blowing hard and long,
and they'll not stop to rest coz the change is go'na come!
Chorus
keep the sight on the way ahead;
don't look back that wouldn't help us now,
coz upstream the river, it gets too wide;
and if don't build that bridge, right her; right now,
you know we'll never ever reach the other side!
Phil Collins. Dance into the light. Track 11. River so wide
in this time of fear, when prayers so often proves in vain;
hope seems like the summer birds, to swiftly flown away.
yet now I'm standing here, with heart so full, I can't explain;
seeking faith, & speaking words, I never I thought I'd say.
Chorus
there can be miracles, when you believe;
though hope is frail, it's hard to kill;
who knows what miracles, you can achieve;
when you believe, somehow you will;
You will when you, believe.
Track from the movie 'Prince of Egypt'. Walt Disney.
Sleep well tonight my Lords Lovelies
For your ‘small/big' ‘brother/son' will take care of the world.
Lets keep this blog in the Hot list for allitle while longer, just keep on commenting silly things My Llovelies, and may be it'll be a healing read instead to someone really in need… did I mention that Shanti inspired me to write this blog… so any credit that you feel need be owed to… it's her…(Shunya Devi, maybe you can remind her of one of your inspiring poems….)
Thanks dear. Thanks for sharing. It's always wonderful to get perspective across diversity, don't you think? The music is lovely, a couple of my favourites as well. One day you ought to tell us how you got to be born in Kenya! I may be visiting during May…
Thanks again. Best regards, Sherrilene
Hi Janak, sorry I've been out of the loop. This is very interesting, and it's really nice to see pictures of our friends Sherri and Goddess2day. My friend Gail has traveled in India and owns a sari, maybe more than one. I'll tell her that a new project will be to wear a sari for a picture, and maybe she will help me. Maybe she will even wear one too, and we could be in a picture together. Thank you for this great idea! You're a dear, and the wonderful women here are lovely and devine. Also, as soon as I think about wearing a sari, I think about the sometimes vigorous physical things I do. I would be glad for many choices of clothing!
Lol. Oh Ariela, I love your feminist rant.
If I was a forced-burka-ed lady, I swear I'd be motivated to touch your feet. But hey…I do know that some women are staunch upholders of the burka as well…but the fact that they are choosing to do this on their own accord…is fine with me…they can walk naked for all I care. lol. Lil brother is going to have me bubble wrapped again for that, I swear…
And then I will really have to travel to Kenya to pour real sand into his imaginary shoes …but you know what? He's really sweet, our CrudeBliss…and when he calls me divine names like Shunya Devi and behna, I lose the ability to even pour imaginary sands on his sacred feet? Oh well…for being so sweet, I'll kiss little brothers feet, muddy toes and all whenever I see him. lol…he's my baby brother…so you guys can close your mouth now… just kidding…just kidding…
Thanks Martha. So sweet of you to say so. Yipee!!! I would love to see you in a sari too. Oh yes, sari could be constricting and gets in the way of vigorous activities but real Indian women (i'm just a water-down, stray away to the south pole version) have it down to an art…with just a twist here and a knot there and they are ready to kick bottoms, xena style… lol…
Here is an actually sari-moment of me. I cheated on the first one…so Ariela we are both Lengha gorls… Sari are a horror to wrap…this one I'm wearing was done wrong…but I bet you can't tell that…(My niece wrapped it on me with instructions from a Youtube video. I swear, next we will be sitting in a helicopter while she instructs me to fly via YouTube navigator…)
Omg…this is a super-long comment…so sorry…but…hey bro, I'll be back with a poem for Shanti…(her profile is lovely and poetic) So not sure she will be impressed with my poetic rambles ;-) However…will post it later… for sure..
love you guys (only one?) and all you gals…
Amy :-)
lol Boy that picture's lovely! I couldn't even try to wrap a sari; don't know where I'd begin. I just dress with positive intention and let the universe do the rest!
I don't know if you're really serious about being Janak's sis but either way, I'm kinda feeling like a sis myself. I plan to visit Kenya in a couple of months and perhaps we will meet. No promises about pouring sand etc., unless it's a native pasttime… I try native pasttimes, such as eating raw harring in Holland [not recommended] and naked sauna in Finland then beating my body with tree branches… What the hey? You only live once! But whoever can make it to Nairobi or Mombasa late May, let's hook up!
I do want to source native African garb while I'm there and who knows, maybe some saris too. Met a great guy from Senegal and I'm still blown away by his style of dress and the darkness of his skin. Incredible!
Anyway, that's enough for the morning I think. Thanks loves, Sherri
~touches Amy's feet, bringing her essence to my heart, sanctifying it and releasing it back to Amy…~
Thank You, Amy…the photo is lovely =) Nothing like a YouTube class, LOL ;-)
You're right, a woman should be able to wear whatever SHE wants. Femininity shines through anything ;-)
BTW, found this link, hope it helps explain how to put the sari on. 6 or 7 yards of fabric is all you need, Sherri, so you can buy any kind of African-print fabric and do the wrap around and voila! You've got yourself a sari! =)
((Hugs my Sisters and Brothers))
Ariela:
Yes yes; Men of the ordinary (animal instincts) need to get it, that we are surely pass the urges of the common animal… in fact, i think at times, animals are better at their relationships… I saw a movie on Penguins very long time ago on 'You asked for it'… and it was amazing… the male would court with the same female for as long as they live, every season, and would be able to trace her (and her to him) amidst thousands of others… If you are a man and are into illicit ones, may I remind you of this…. it's true, by my God's swearing… you shall suffer as such….
Amy ! ! !
You know I'm just waiting for them to invent the teleporting machine…
that way I don't have to waste time wrapping you in the bubble wrap… I'd just feed in the co-ordinates 99.99.99 location - far far away, outside our milky way, and 'engage' the primary and secondary coils at once…. bye bye …. zap…
Oh but wait…. wait…. WAIT….. Stop all transfer protocols… REVERSE ALL COMMAND CRITERIA'S!….
Invert de-materializing subroutine…
Re-engage materializing subroutine…
………..
……….
………
……
Phew,
that was close….
(If I send you off, who will play with me like you do my Llove?)
So i shall silently watch you make a mockery of my good intentions, for inside i know you pinch me, but that with love… so there you go… pinch away (always).Take care, my Llovelies, and you're welcome to the Coast anytime….
PS. I love Her music allot… my favorite album is A breath of Life… play it during the long Easter holidays, you'll feel like you are in a new world altogether….
By the way… very good pictures in deed… you all are, as I saw your spirits' to be.
Thanks Sherri. Wow…some native pastimes are amazing…beating the body with tree branches sounds like many ouches…yes, but what the heck…life is short too… Lol…Oh no….pouring sands in shoes is not a cultural sibling thing but a crazy harmless ritual I invented when I was a little peep-squeak but only to get even with my big brothers…and I was just joking with our J but I guess you could tell that…
Thank you Ariela….such a sweet ritual that is…you made me feel divine….so I came by “to touch your feet, bringing your essence to my heart, sanctifying it and releasing it back to you…~” because you, my Gaia sis is awesome and deserves it… so there…
Now to my little Gaia bro…you are right…who will play with you like I do indeed? Lol…but hey on a serious note, any pinch done to you and anyone else by me is not meant to harm…just to tease with light humor and love and fun… and oh me…oh no… I'll never make a mockery of your good intentions… And you know what else? I think you have done a great job with this blog by touching a chord deep inside of woman…we all love dress-up time and what better garment than the sari? It brings out the Goddess in woman everywhere…I know it certainly did to me…
So here is to all of us and Shanti, wherever she is…for inspiring me as well…and of course to India…original land of the Sari…
India
Speaking eyes downcast, shyly she smiles
Simple and humble, enticing womanly wiles
Her body speaks a language of its own
Exotic, exquisite, a sweet, matchless tone
In hypnotic dances and mesmerizing songs
She appears fragile yet she is so strong
Intriguing, enchanting, shades of glimmer
Alluring, enthralling, shawls in shimmer
Spicy sins, incense hints and fragrance of a rose
Her divinity comes draped in colourful clothes
Yet her most vulnerable part she bares
Her belly, her pride unaware of curious stares
Soft light innocently flirting with darkness
Breezy whispers, cool caress, nothing in excess
Achingly beautiful and seemingly without a clue
The she is enlightenment through and true
Behold her incredible inner beauty
She's balanced soul of humanity
Primitive to some, to others noblesse
Earth's India, sacred land, compassionate GoddessVery well said Behna !
Your heart's in a the North American land, but your soul speaks as if it were in our native land.
Sunshine outside? No…
It's okay, i'll read on Amy's work more….
Wait the sun is out again,
well its always out after the rain….
Let it rain, let it shine,
growth is the conundrum between the two,
know this to be true though,
don't be happy in happiness
don't be sad in sadness,
live the joy of just being with thy Lord
he so wants to be yours.
This is great… i've been inspired by you all to write another blog on the power of women… give me till the end of easter….
I've got a title roaming in my head….
'A true measure of a man? How much of a 'She' he can be'.
Thanks for pointing me back here to read all the coments and pictures.
Love the poem.
I've never yet made it to India (in this life and body), But I feel some soul of it anyhow.
I actaully brought a Sari once just cause I thought the fabric was so beautiful, but then I never figured out how to put in on and after five years sitting in my wardrobe I passed it on.
But you all make it sound and look like fun, so if I get the chance again I'll try to be bolder.
Blessings
Thanks Shanti. I've never been to India too but like J pointed out, my soul speaks as if it dwells there…. hmm…also, it feels as if I've walked other lands as well…I am obsessed with Egypt and other worlds I've never been to…and who knows…I probably lived in Kenya and even the middle east as well :-)
Thanks J.
Lol…yes…the good old sun…never fails to shine after the rain…and the latter…so benefitial for the birth of new minds, new outlook…and so much more… so thanks again to you for starting this wholesome conversation…and oh yes…sounds interesting…a whole new blog on “the power of women” Looking forward to seeing that….
Shanti, Cynthia, Martha … and all those seeking :
How to wear a sari
there's your link.
You have no excuse now…
Egypt is it Amy?, i was always facinated by the Pharo also, he'd build the biggest pyramids for his father to be burried in and the reason was, the higher the pyramid, the closer and faster the soul would reach the heavans/God… allitle silly though, God is everywhere…
(Why do i still even comment on this blog, there must be some past life residue in me of the she….)
Did i just type that 'out loud'… oh no, now every one will call me 'Janak the she'… Janaki…
Janak, you are funny. But don't ever change anything. Your spirit is shining and awesome and it's lovely to be on this team with you. And if we call you Janaki it is a term of endearment, which is kinda sweet anyway hahaha In any case, balance is crucial so to embrace the feminine even in you is healthy and very mature I might add!
And no question about the fabric. I'm looking forward to draping myself lovingly in finely spun garments when I get into 'reality'! [I live in a cultureless construct presently hahaha] More on that at another time.
Keep good. We love ya. Sherri
'The women are to cover their bodies such that their breasts, navel and thighs are not visible.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeear
I may have to ride through your town bareback on a horse, Janak, darlin'. ;-)
My breasts fed my son…
(6 ft 6 now. Should have patented my breast milk :D )
If my sacred breasts want a trip in the sunshine,(Vitamin D is good) free from covering so be it. Through the middle of town, on the beach. If someone judges me or them because they are visible, then…well… Is that practicing the purest form of love? :)
But I do love the Sari. If we MUST wear clothes, the Sari is definitely a lovely choice. ;-)
I will make mine in white, of cotton, free of dyes ….as time for my children's project allows.
Hmmmm but maybe we women should all have a little March thru a town, and bear our navels, thighs and breasts, karmic and earthly scars. We may meet a little jail time, but…why not.
And I think there should be a HUGE bonfire of bras. Because as a nurse, I truly believe they play a huge role in breast cancer. The wires and restrictions impede lymphatic flow, setting the immune system up for disaster.
Remember to send my recipe for the beans and tomatoes when you have time, Janak?
I don't eat meat now, or products that come with the suffering of animals.
Hmmm what could be next. :)
Off to clean my toilet with some water and elbow grease.
Beautiful day to all now. We are all so blessed to have each other.
Love,
Janie
Saris are lovely, absolutely…
Suggestions to women encouraging the embrace of their divine beauty– these things are lovely…
Telling women what to do based on whatever scripture or philosophy,
these things it's time to leave behind…
Control is finding wildflowers and potting them, trimming their petals…
True love of all things is finding wildflowers and embracing their wild fragrance…
That's my Janie! =)
Oh, the breasts that nourish, the navel that connects us, the thighs between which is born new life.
“Cover it up”???? You guys are just jealous.
LMAO.
I have to say, I love the direction this thread is taking right now, no offence Janak.
Somewhere earlier I think I said that I'd like to be able to disrobe and walk right into the ocean; beyond anything else that is my ultimate dream. Get me that beach and the deal is done! I agree that we have to seek new paradigms, definitely ones that embrace us totally, real-ly. Our role as spiritual advocates - I just renamed us, yes - is to raise the profile, I guess, of the spirit or our spirituality and reduce this chronic reference to the physical as more substantial than the rest of us. I feel in time this frivolity with superficial things will run out. However, I guess we're gonna still have to risk arrest for some time. Darn! We need more women-policy makers! Hahaha
Love it! Sherri
They're so beautiful!
I love these posts! And I am seeing some familar “faces, ” resurrected1, bluewater…
I will have to post a teaser, cause it's time to go to bed.
I will have to eloborage on my views of the sari, and yes, yes ladies, I have fulfilled your dreams of surrendering in oceanic bliss in the nude!!! And yes, it IS everything you FEEL INSTICTUALLY it would be inside! The women who dream of this, are the ones who feel their inherent, natural, etherial, wildness!! A certain wildness that can only burst through you as ecstacy when you are emmersed in nature. It is innocent wildness, and you would not “think,” that swimming in the nude would be that “big of a deal,” but really it brings out the ultimate merging of feminine divine connection with the mother, with Gaia!
It is not “sexual” as people perhaps fear, it is just sheer ecstacy to be in the ocean, vulnerable, you start to feel like a child, unsure…but then when you feel the essence and the body of the ocean touch EVERY crevace of your flesh, that slight fear turns into sheer joy! it is beyond words, this REBIRTH!!!!!
Great discussion!!!
BTW: Of course, I did not do this in the States, but in the tropics! I don't think there are laws, but also there are beaches that are more remote….
Delightful!
Namaste everyone…:-)
Ok Nikki. I guess the hunt is on for my most appropriate beach to pull this one off finally… You just answered my question with a new one for me: “If not now, when?” [I LIVE IN THE TROPICS…!] But everything you said is absolutely my motivation; nothing AT ALL sexual… it is FREEDOM! Ma seule reve… my only dream.
Be sure to keep you guys… ok perhaps not Janak…. posted heheheh
Love and wonderful Sunday to you. Sherri
Ohhhhhhhhh yes nikki. The ocean in God's birthday suit. No man could ever know the joy of floating in the sea like we do, huh? :)
Res, darling…we must get to the ocean and have a swim…hmmmm in fact maybe all we ladies should get together and swim nude in the ocean somewhere on the planet. How about off the coast of Africa? Maybe Janak could help us plan 'et. :) He could run security :D
Proceeds to an African project of his choice or choices. We know how dedicated he is to his homeland.
We can run to the ocean and scream freeeeeeeedoooooooooooooooooom :D :D :D
We can carry the ones who cannot walk.
A GAIA event deluxomundo. The press would love it. Great zaadzvertizing huh?
Maybe some of those lovely musicians and celebs who support Africa projects could help us fund it. Well anyone could.
Then a big giant concert with lots o singing drumming and dancing. Maybe U2 could come.
I wonder if Janak would let me have the first dance. (Is that ok to ask in his culture, girls? We Americans are kinda um different sometimes, in that way)
We can wear Saris to the dance, in honor of Janak. ;)
They could be “RED” in honor of Bono's dedication to Africa :)
No lets wear white, no dyes, and call it THE BIG RED PARTY ? :)
Can we please have a huge bonfire with all the bras too?
In honor of all the women who have had breast cancer. Thank you :)
Whattcha think? :)
Bluewater, Alan, Resurected1, Nikki, Sherry and ofcourse Amy:
OK you have me stooped to your level… i was singing out loud, standing on the lowest plane (i thought) possible for women to stop being victim to T.V. ads of the perfact body, and the perfact face; it's always interesting when you believe in something so much (being free from fashion and obsessive shopping of new designer clothes) and know its solution (the sari), but to see you people here; dancing around (some in the nude), poking me with your toes as to say “hey join the real form of detachment, and freedom from the mundane world”. I'm humbled by your visions… yours is a song truly below my voice box's singing capacity.
BTW Bluewater… your son is 6' 6” because he is a spiritually awakened soul … (tall people are more spiritualy wise) and not because of your breast milk… trust me… maybe just a hint of it played a part… but not 'patent it!' as much. :-) and the bonefire of bras… i'm choking already, for i know, you will do it.. (it's just a question of time)… but seriously, i think that any sort of rubber tied to your body, does shut off the blood supply, and this creates a situation where cells start dying (lack of food and oxygen) and so the immune has the responsibility to clean up the mess, if it can't in time, it turns out to be what you say as cancer… very true.
Humbled as always… trying to finish the “How much of a 'she' can 'he' be”. blog …in the mean time here are some sweat romance songs on the Lord…
Hahahahahaha Janie, I'm so there!
What a great plan! You know, first off, we all gather for Janak's “Sweat romance songs on the Lord” (LOL)…and THEN we all strip and run nekkid to the ocean for a Birthday suit swim yelling Freeeeeeeeeeedommmm!
WoooHoooo! I think we'd get lots and lots of sponsors! xD
http://bluewater.gaia.com/blog/2008/3/what_would_you_like_to_have_done_by_your_next_birthday
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh deaaaaaaaaaaaar, my friend…
your son is 6' 6” because he is a spiritually awakened soul … (tall people are more spiritualy wise) and not because of your breast milk…
(tall people are more spiritualy wise) ????????
That's a very “interesting statement” Janak. Where did u read that? Does size really matter? Hmmm. I never thought so.
I know some incredibly incredibly spiritually wise people… one who is 4 ft 9, here in Zaadz.
And kids! Wow they are short and some say they are “closer to God” than any adult could ever be.
The day my 6 ft 6 son has the wisdom and courage to wear a white sari…that is when I might call him truly enlightened. We all know the fertility science of allowing “freedom” to reign. ( I can be the nurse if needed)
I think this should be a movement for both sexes. And kids could wear saris too. Babies would be cute in them :)
I am going to look for material when I get back from my trip, for mine :)
Oh and never underestimate the power of breast milk. Mother nature has the patent. She is brilliant… ;)
Thanks for starting such a fun, stimulating discussion, in your blog Janak :)
I guess i take it back… wisdom, spiritually does not depend on Height… some saint must have used that sentence on me for i'm tall too, and he'd might have intended it for me only to make me keep on my path….
PS. i've posted the blog
http://crudebliss.gaia.com/blog/2008/3/a_true_measure_of_a_man_how_much_of_a_she_he_can_be
Lets's see how popular that goes to be.
PS. the walking around in the nude.. will get you arrested… we might be the most corrupt continent on the planet but… :-) you will be arrested…
And you know what else, Little bhaiya? Today, by revealing once again that you have an open mind, makes you taller than the tallest, in my view. So perhaps that saint meant “tall” in the non-literal sense.
Great comments, everyone. A lot happened here since I last posted. Hmm…how long was I asleep? Ah. I feel like Mrs. Rip Van Winkle at times. Lol.
And very funny, J…that last line of yours. But thanks for the warning. Like you said earlier, some men are still primitive…and other men like our husbands, fathers, brothers know this so sometimes when they appear controlling, they are only wanting to protect us. I mean, even I am protective when it comes to my daughter. But by and by…hopefully all our men will evolve into civilized souls. And that's where the feminine comes in…a daughter, sister, wife, mother…we have all soften our men in some ways or the other…. .but then again….there are some men whom I will swear fell from coconut trees…or …oak ones…
Lol.
Take care you guys. It was nice meeting all of you wonderful, open mind souls here on J's blog. And J, I will be along to read your next post soon. I promise.
Amy :-)
Janak!
LOL, you see what kind of things happen when you use that silver tounge of yours?
Long discussions. Long discussions. Growth and challenges for all, even the creator of the discussion!
We grow! We change and we learn! We learn to, as Americans sometimes say, separate the wheat from the chaff– in other words, we learn to keep what is holy in all traditions, and perhaps abandon the things in any tradition that don't understand the divinity in all people and things!
Keep writing and speaking. And keep seeking– everyone! I will as well, for step-step evolution and growth, well, is there anything else for us?
Thank you, Janak, for the lovely conversation. And thank you for being willing to accept the opinions of others, and consider them when they conflict with your own.
Did you agree with me, btw, when I said: there is really only one true faith, and it's all faith? I bet you will!
Even though I do prefer my birthday suit. I only SUGGEST, I might wear it in public…(right now anyway. :-) But I do like the naked run to the ocean, idea. I guess we could wear Sari's instead, if we had to ;-)
But I will get it out the birthday suit if I have to to protect my seesters rights …you know. A little jail time…whatever. Love endures all things. :)
I bought a Sari today. It is so comfortable. I am so glad you did this blog, Janak. You are a gem :)
Peace and Llove,
Janie :)
Ok, I run into the water wearing the sari, and then one of my home girls takes it for me while I flutter around doing mermaid things offshore somewhere, hopefully safe from the eyes of the puritanists… That'll do for a start… And we can take turns hehehe
I remember a trip to Cuba when my two girlfriends and I went diving into this waterfall pool, and we got out and there wasn't any place to change our clothes. So we waited for the tour guide to give us the courtesy of moving away so that we could get dressed in some privacy. Do you know this man absolutely refused to go? He just sat there and watched patiently to see what we would do! So the girls had to team up and do one of them tag team dressing things where two held the towel and the other got dressed etc. I didnt like that man much…
Anyway, keep me posted on the developments! FREEDOM TO ALL BODY PARTS!!!
Oh Janie! Congratulations on your sari buy! I'm truly happy for you! :D
Love, SC
Nude beaches are great…. got a few in Miami. You'd be surprised who goes to the nude beaches and who goes to the 'regular' beaches. The first time I went, I thought I would feel so self conciouse, but it was a very liberating experience for me. I did not feel gawked at, in other words. I did a lot of gawking, the crass person I am! I was amazed by the lack of primping and showcasing. Here were real people, flaws and all, just enjoying the ocean in thier most natural state. Amazing stuff.
However, I still love the feel of clothing - silk, satin, lace, cotton - all different textures and colors, so animate and self expressive - I would think the entire point to the Sari is to bring out the goddess within a woman, the inner feminine. Guys, can you imagine being deliciously covered in soft, flowing silk and cotton, to look and feel elegant and graceful, no matter what body type you have? It's a real treat. Trust me.
Wow, Janak, I really hope you can see what a value you are to your feminine friends at Gaia.
Namaste
Thea
Janak, when you say, “The Lord said,” I honestly find this funny. I find it funny on one level, and tragic on another, that we get so attached to the words of our Saints and Gurus. Funny, because when we see the play of the mind, it is really laughter that comes from your belly- tragic because it often leads to dogma, righteousness, and wars are started from this. Most of the enlightened beings, if they knew of this would be laughing or chastising us. I was recently reading an interview with Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj, who is known as a realized being, teacher of Ultimate Truths. He was asked what he thought about one of his long time students writing a book about his teachings. Sri Nisargadatta said, “It says more about him,
than about me.” To me, this is such a powerful quote, that can only be understood when felt- and that is the blessing and power of the Feminine/Goddess energy. As you say, the measure of a man if how much of a “she” can he be, when you can FEEL the words, they may indeed be more than remembered or repeated, but experienced.
There are many Lords, “Lord Krisna,” Lord Vishnu, Lord Matreya. Which one is right? None of them, and all of them. The full truth can never be fully spoken or channeled, only partial pieces of the grand Truth- which we know only through experience.
“the lord said that ‘the men shall cover their body with 2 pieces of clothes, one to cover the top and the other; the bottom’; boy if I could only get my hands on Salman Khan; I would slap him silly.”
I love this, when people say, “so-and-so said,” which a sense of proposed authority. We are always changing and evolving, that is an inevitable truth. A teacher, guru, or Saint, says things at particular times for particular purposes.
He/She is often times saying that for the students in that moment, but years later it may no longer apply.
If anything, if we don’t let our ego’s get in the way too much, they teach us to listen to our own discernment- such is the grace of spiritual autonomy..
Once I went to a lecture of a famous monk. He was talking and for a moment his microphone went out- someone asked, could you repeat what you said? He said something like, “Oh, don’t listen to everything I say!” And laughed at how everyone was hanging on his every word. One of my teachers, also laughed at people when they said, “well two years ago your told me this,” She would say, “Well that was two years ago. THINGS CHANGE.”
True teachers actually contradict themselves, because they don’t care to stick to any opinions, and are channeling perfection in the moment-whatever someone needs to hear for their evolution. Opposite to my first example, where the student hung onto every word the monk said, there may be a student who is always spacing out and not listening. To him, the monk may say, “Each word I say is a precious jewel. You must listen.”
Bluewater, I love your response about height! And indeed before Janak wrote his comment, I was shown a boy who was exceptionally tall, and a holy man telling him this so that he will feel better about himself. Perhaps the saint knew the boy may be made fun of, and by telling him this, it spared him from self esteem issues that would hinder his spiritual growth- it is a form of divine mercy.
I will say though, the comment about U2 and all the media coverage-Hmm, first I want to say that I value your contribution, second I will just speak simply and offer what I feel inside.
I feel that this alludes to our cultural conditioning towards the sensational and commercial. We are so trained and oriented towards this in America! Why do we need Massive “sponsorship” to go buy a plane ticket to a remote place and take a dip in the ocean? As much as I love U2, I would not want a band, a bunch of film crews, or media helicopters, drowning out the beautiful sound of my own heartbeat surrendered like a baby inside the ocean!
I guess if you want to make it a political statement about nudity, then okay. But if you want the sacred experience of being in the temple of the Mother, and to feel your ultimate oneness with it, the hype sounds really distracting.
And whew, the risk of exploitation is huge!
I am certainly a supporter of huge visions, and you are a mirror Bluewater, but when I read your post, I was concerned. I Do think that your sense of visionary whimsy can be channeled in incredible ways- it is a gift indeed!
Being that I have experienced being in the nude,
I will say this:
That when I plastered myself over the river rocks in the middle of the jungle, flesh to flesh with the large stones,
I never felt more beautiful in my life. It was there, in the simplicity, the quietness, the solitude- that I saw nature’s beauty, and my own reflected in it- as not separate from Gaia herself. It is so humbling to be nude in this way, more than any “sacred garnment” such as a sari could offer. I am saying to God, “take me, I am in your hands- my flesh is yours.”
Remember, how we came into this world- naked, and there was no shame. When I took the time to be there, naked, I received, “This is how women can know their true beauty.” And it is SO simple!
Janak, I rarely take time to comment on blogs here, so obviously I find this one utterly engaging, and I appreciate the intentions, as well as the wise women coming on here. Your intentions were not just to preach about the ultimate Divine Solution of the Sari, no? Perhaps that was in your mind, but in your heart, whether you consciously wanted to or not, to give women a voice. And your soul, I feel, wanted to Learn from the Goddess. So we are here, gracing you with our presence! May you hear our voices and intuitive wise hearts!
I am glad we have brought you outside of your comfort zone. When we are uncomfortable, that is when change really happens- that is if we allow it, and for our egos’ to die another death.
Alan, you are right, there is a “silver tongue” here! But even a silver tongue, can swallow the right medicine of the Goddess, and transmute this alchemy into an open heart! Then his tongue may be golden, or maybe even rainbowed!
BTW I DO indeed find the garment of the sari to be sacred in itself, and to easily reflect sacredness and divinity- it is clothing that seems to raise the vibration and the aura a bit.
I haven’t worn a sari, but have worn something very similar, with a dupatha (spelling?).
But to say that all woman “should” wear this all the time, aside from the fact I know the Lord doesn’t really care, if I show up in the temple with a sari or a t-shirt- it is just not practical.
You even have a “be careful” post on the picture above with the woman in the sari. I can’t imagine riding a bike with it! Or doing Yoga, or athletic activities. I don’t know it all about the Indian culture, but perhaps there is a reason, besides the corruption of “gucci” that made them rebel against the ‘native ways.’. Perhaps they were told this is the way, they must wear this all the time. Even if you were getting it dirty while doing your chores, even if sometimes it felt better just to wear a dress, more airy and comfortable, she still had to wear it. So then, the thing that is supposed to represent divine feminine becomes oppressive…people always rebel against “have to’s,”
So it is not just the medium itself, but how we use it, no?
Blessings
Everyone!
and
Namaste.
Dear Nikki,
You replied…with concern…and I so appreciate your comments…
I would not want a band, a bunch of film crews, or media helicopters, drowning out the beautiful sound of my own heartbeat surrendered like a baby inside the ocean!
I would… if it would create funding, awareness and/or change for one woman or one child. It is not about me anymore. The sound of my own heartbeat has no value when mothers hearts are breaking as their children die in their arms…every five seconds in the world…
because they don't have enough to eat.
I hope every woman would run to the ocean, to help. No matter who is watching.
In fact lets make it a worldwide event on every coast on the planet.
Peace and awareness,
J
On the Bono comments…God love him for his efforts.
“Let him who is without sin, cast the first stone.”
We are all brothers and sisters. No matter what we wear, no matter our place on earth. We are here to help one another, however we can.
Bono is trying…with many.
They don't have to try.
But they do.
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=-G2PpO7DwsM&feature=user
Corporations try too…and that is a good thing. We can all help somehow.
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=3-vXKrUdF6U&feature=user
Wear or buy Red today :)
Maybe a comfortable purdy Sari, so ya don't have to feel like a need to wear a silly bra :)
Haha, you invited me to wear a sari… in fact I have two sari's and used to wear them frequently! Unfortunately, I have no recent picture of me wearing one, otherwise I would certainly mail it to you.
You are so right about it being a lovely outfit. It truly looks divine on women, and Indian women can definitely be proud to wear them! I also love the use of all the bright colours, I have these pictures of women from Rajasthan wearing so many bright colours, it makes my heart jump with joy!
THE BEAUTY of the devine feminine INDEED … especially in a sari !
Found the photo of my mother and me in a sari, you can see it here.
I propose a woman's run to the ocean, holding hands, across a long beach/beaches somewhere in the world. All of us dressed in white saris. What we wear or don't wear shouldn't be too important. (even though I personally prefer bathing naked in the ocean)
The awareness we are doing it for the children of the planet, is what would be important.
I think Kenya, as the story of human beginning, and in honor of Janak, for his inspirational blog.
I know a film maker in Los Angeles, who does beautiful conscious documentaries.
I will speak to him about it. America could be the sister beach for the event. Possibly the west coast.
I like Res', idea of Pay Per View. We can raise millions of dollars for children, but what is important is the energy our thoughts will create around the world.
I will make a pod so we can discuss it. :)
Res, thanks for this link. I thought the sari group might like to see it? :)
What an incredible photographer, and bringing about awareness for earth change. I love the glacier photo to bring awareness of global warming, and the one of the man in the wheelchair.
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=BNfrW7B43fg&feature=related
Now THIS is divine dress. God's clothing…we all have it :)
But saris are cool too :)
Enjoy the video! I do all the time!
Indeed…that naked Sea of Humanity! How Beautifully done! So this can definitely have a wonderful artistic element!
My faves are the one with the wheelchair also…and the one where they're acting like an army, LOL…oh and the one where they look like they're spilling off the river bank. (saw the making of that one in a documentary. Very cool.)
BTW, he gets arrested alot, but so what, LOL…the work and message lives on forever!
OK we'll definately make it to Heaven, i'm positive, but there will be a quick stop in Hell where we will be thrown in ice cubicals and would wish for someone to throw us a piece of clothing, anything to make this cold go away…. hell has a cold house too you know; just for people like Sherrie, Ariela, Cynthea, Amy and especially Janie.
I've read the 'Yumdaund' a book by Nishkulanund Swami that describes what happens to one if s/he does such and such Karma… and there it's said that … well let me just put the link instead…
http://www.crudebliss.gaia.com/blogs/tags/Hell
so logically if you do as you wish… (run to the sea naked…) you will certainly feel the joy of the water wraping you (i live at the coast; so i know - no not in the nude tsk tsk) but with it you'll also tie the negative of it… you'll be iced… for the devil only works on you if you ignore the words of God and/or His messengers… 'Dress modestly”
You see, you people are like angels, you have been clipped off your wings in this life, and so you can't bear the weight of gravity acting on you; and to put the cherry on the cake; the weight of clothes on you… but earth is in the sixth realm from a total of 14 realms… here's where people from Hell and Heaven meet at the same time… so we just have to be on our toes… that's all.
The people in the nude video was………..
lets just say, blood flowed in places it had never flown before - well atleast not in a very very long time when i was a teenager; especially at mark 0:52 - the animal still lives. (i hope my mum never finds out about this comment…. shhh)
Personally, i don't know if i can unfreeze you Sherrie, Ariela, Cynthea, Amy and especially Janie… for i have 25,000 BTU's of body heat only .. well may be allitle more, as i always carry my jug of water…
But still unfreezing you lot will be a monumental task… what a man does for his women…
{rubs his hands together and blows a breathe of warm air on his palms, for he knows he has to ready himself of the inevitable}
Ooooooh especially…. Janie you say?? Shall I be honored or horrified I need to be “saved”?
Isn't it interesting how different cultures and practices can be? I guess as long as we all love each other, that is the most important thing. I think it is also that we respectful of others religions practices when we are amongst them. But ultimately it is all about love.
In my families religion God never said “don't skinny dip in the ocean, for you must dress modestly”…as I was taught to respect the human body more than clothing, and the ocean salt water and sunlight are so healing and such a blessing from God, they should touch all of our cells, at times. So I confess, I did swim naked…several times (and loved it)….The feeling of being free of clothing and surrounded by soft flowing water everywhere is such a joy. Like floating in Gods love. So my family of scientists…I suppose they think differently than some.
Oh dear what shall I do, now???…. for I will be frozzzzen according to Janak….sigh….I guess I will have to rely on Janaks BTU's to warm me up???…..and then find a beautiful sari to dress in. Oohhhh daaaaarn? Please warm your palms :)
I am thawing quickly, I think…(quick freeze me again, someone ;)
In fact I think the whole world started thawing when you were born, dear one.
You and your little jug of water :)
That has got to be one of the cutest pictures I have ever seen in my life :)
( I won't tell your mum, but I think it is ok ;) shhh )
