Always feels good to do good; this is a translation of a prayer that was said by great devotees in the past (about 200 years ago). It's about the importance of the Lord, the compassion He has for us & the love He has for us.
Plea to the Lord.
Words of the importance Of.
Oh Swaminarayan, oh Maharaj, you are the initiator of all galaxies, the soul of ‘Akshar-brahm'.
God of the Gods, oh Maharaj! this sun and moon in the sky are under your command, this earth is still because its under your command.
Oh Lord, your importance could not be told by the great like ‘Shesh & Sharaud', then how can I do so?
Oh Swaminarayan, there is no valuable in this world that I can give you as a gift, and so I have surrendered my body, mind & wealth to thy feet; and I'd sacrifice my head for you, Oh Shriji Maharaj! ones like the Narad and the Sanak are meditating of you.
Oh Maharaj! you incarnated in Chhapaya, and for our sake came to our county, on the way you suffered the chills and heat of the seasons and the wicked ones also troubled you; all this was endured by you for your devotees' sake.
Oh my Swaminarayan! this is your greatest piousness, and those who discard this piety are the greatest of sinners.
Prayer of empathy
Oh Sahjanund Swami, the compassionate one, the lover of the poor!
I'm your servant's servant, oh child of Bhakti & Dharma!
Your faithfulness shall not be forgotten by me, many a million years have passed in this world by me, but your true righteousness ways were not properly understood by me, because of this I was so miserable.
Oh God!
In the body of trees I was axed many a times, in the body of mammals I suffered hunger and thirst, in the body of reptiles and birds I was chased down by hunters. Many such similar incarnations were full of misery, of which I shall now not forget.
Oh lover of His devotee, oh ultimate incarnation!
In this world you sent many thousands of prophets, but due to my ignorance, I didn't believe in any of their words of which consequently I had been suffering till today.
But these days, I have been bestowed your full compassion. Hence I shall not do anything from now on, to live, to regret it later.
Oh Lord!
I shall follow your commandments. I shall take care not to near my inner faculty (mind, intelligence, consciousness & imagination) to the wicked.
Prayer of Love.
Oh my souls lover! You are my soul's true relative. In this world there is no other Lord that loves me so.
Oh Swaminarayan! You are my life line; you are my soul's strength, The apple of my eye, my hearts desire, Oh Swaminarayan! My father, I shall not forsake you for a minute.
You are my forgiving station.
Oh Lord! in this ocean of bitter waters you are my spring of sweet nectar. My love, you are costly then my head, more lovable then myself. In the same way you are my only God. Oh Shriji Maharaj, saver from the sinful, taker to the tranquil, family for the faithful, father of the forsaken, supporter of the poor, oh my true relative, I have faith on you only. I have no faith in other deities. Oh my love! I crave for your love, nothing less is desired off you.
Prayer of Longing
Oh Maharaj! Oh Maharaj! please bestow me the pleasure of being in your fellowship like the way you did for Brahmanund Swami and Muktanund Swami,
Oh Maharaj! Bestow me the pleasure of being a celibate like Murji & Vasudevanund.
Oh Maharaj! Bestow me the pleasure of being detached like Nishkulanund Swami, Guratitanund Swami & Ragunathanund Swami.
Oh Lord! Bestow me the pleasure to be with your staunch devotees continuously.
Oh ‘Hari Krushna Maharaj', let me receive your grace when I'm awake and in my sleep too.
Oh Maharaj! Let the ignorant backbite; but my Lord, I want to be called by others as one of yours.

Oh Swaminarayan! Oh my Father & Mother! Oh Maharaj! I'm but yours only.
Thus ends the translation of this great prayer, it goes to show that people in the past lacking all and even the basic of technologies, could be great scientists of their time. (the Lord describes a scientist as a person who has properly understood the soul, God & illusion.)

I visited the Swami Narayan Centre in London. We did not want to come out , because it was so calm and quiet with lot of people inside. Our hearts feel full with that atmosphere.
