Planet Jupiter; a soul full of altruism

Ever been hit by a stone, and even if you had, ever given something nice back to the one who hit you with the stone?

One day there was a king who was out hunting. He felt tired and so took a rest under a tree. After a while a boy came near that tree but did not see who was under that tree. However the boy’s eye caught the sight of a ripened mango on that tree, so he took a stone and threw on it. The mango did fall down, but the stone also came down on the king’s head. Of course the king got angry and ordered his bodyguard to capture the one who threw the stone. When asked, the boy said, I did not intend to hit his majesty, I was merely hungry and wanted the mango on the tree. Upon hearing this, the king got caught in a little pause, he picked up the mango and returned to the kingdom with the boy.

You know, at that time, the kings were wise and instead of punishing the boy, he was rewarded a couple of villages to be governed under his rule. Of course the bad waziers were shocked that all their labors of (pretence) love were discarded by the king and the one who hit the king with a stone got to rule many villages. One of them got the nerve to ask the king ‘why’. The king replied ‘if a tree in my kingdom can give fruit, if hit by a stone; than I’m the king of this country, it’s my duty to give accordingly’.

One of the greatest sacrifices one can make is that of self-sacrifice. We tend to go about our daily life in full awareness of our selves. We tend to stay away from things we can’t solve like poverty, famine, etc.
Did you know that a feather weighs about a tonne on Jupiter. This is simply because of it’s gigantic size (the more the matter, the more the gravitational pull towards the center.)
I was once watching this scene on the Discover Channel not long ago, when a giant comet ‘Shoe-maker’ bombarded the planet. One of the scientist mentioned that if Jupiter were inexistent, then there would be a good chance that earth would be a place of frequent bombardments of comets and meteors.
This is simply because Jupiter takes the hit of stray asteroids coz of its immense gravitational pull, if it can’t completely attract them, then it changes its path so that it misses the earth.

Like a preacher being attacked by a group of thugs, you would do your best to save the preacher. Similarly, Earth and Jupiter are souls that have a relationship of great love from that past.

Look for something truly pure, and if you can’t add on it, then at least guard it from harms that are the reality in today’s world. A true parent is a great example of true altruism.

Hoping that you will take the worlds insults more differently :-)
