This new Year i want to write about 26 important words to me starting from A to Z...
actaully i will just write the first meaningful words that come to my mind.. and then use my inteligence to guide the meaning...
A for... ummm
When can one have an abundance of something... ?
When they are not attached to something.... right ?
Think about it...
When someone is attached to something s/he can;t have more... for they have already placed a "parametre" around their thing of attachment.. and hence the word abundance never means anything to them.. they will never have enough... for they are disallowing the flow.. their growth their maturity to More (look below for 'God' to learn more)
B for... ummm
Bliss :-) i wish to repeat a statement that was declared by Lord Swaminarayan of what this bliss really means...
"The abode of God is superb, eternal, supernatural, blissful, vast and indivisible. I'll give a comparison: This world including mountains and trees on it and all forms of human beings, animals, birds etc. be made of glass and all the stars in the sky be as bright as the sun; and with all this, the entire world looks beautiful; the abode of God is that beautiful. Devotees of God can see such abode in trance and they attain it after leaving the material body."
C for... catapult
Defination... a weapon mostly... with a simlple 3 point use (mostly) of energy transfer...
Load - Fulcrum - Effort
If the fulcrum is at the right place and the effort is addequate... then no matter what the load... it flies :-)
Think of life as a journey... and you are the object (subject) of travel... How would you prefer to have your ride towards Ecstacy ?

(the eagle was a description i recall that Lord Swaminarayan used to describe the different speeds)
on spiritual matters.. there are 3 things too.. that decide a souls speed - be it towards ecstacy or away from it... Satva - Rajas - & Tamas
So... a soul with good speed is preferred... then a soul which is of slow or no speed... who has to be dragged or motivated or 'pushed' towards the right path.
By speed; i mean.. Passion... that passion can be towards the worldly also... yet when s/he finds the truth... their speed is now efficiently utilised to understand the truth now.. and hence their faster evolution then the one who is on a slow passion...
and that is why... sometimes i feel that the west will overtake all spiritual awakening far much faster... then the rest of the people.. for they have good speed... and even though the ordinary Indian is towards the right path.. s/he is using a less proactive vehicle... then the west are used to.... (Plane Driven)
D for Day :-)
I wanted to say death... but then; i realised that it is encapsulated in the word day :-)
For Death comes in the ordinary of a Day; and hence; day is superior in hierarchy...
Its in a single day of 24 hours.. that everything happens... and its a great segment of time inwhich for example...
a devotee gets enlightenment
a person becomes a parent
a child becomes an adolecent
an adolecent becomes an adult
an adult becomes an elder
Every title that every human has got; they got it on a particular day.. and hence i have great value for this word... it is a-new; each and every passing day, fresh, with bright light, and more enthusiasm then yesterday, a day is like a gift to us... renewed everyday; revitalised every next day...
Some may say... that thier days are not good ahead...
i would like to say... the days ahead are not the same....
:-) now if you are a rish person.. the above sentance apples to you; and if you are poor; the Same sentance apllies to you..

Food for thought; food for senses; food for the spirit;
Everyone needs a food fill; the thief to the enthroned; no one can deny the fire of the stomach... if not diminished with food; it turns into rage and violence.. which in turn leads to the destruction of all good qualities in one... Anger is like a drop of poison that spoils the whole bowl of good milk.
Food for thought; inteligence building... work... people work to build their careers; livelihood; knoweldge base... etc
All this requires data input through the senses... the 5 senses need to see, hear, smell, feel & taste everyhing and anything about this world to build a database that can be refered to in the course of ones life's choices.
Food for the spirit : this is nothing more then the opposite of the above... when like a tried and tested enlightened soul is given a brick of Gold.. S/he sees no difference between that brick and a puddle of mud.
Food for the spirit is received from enlightened masters.. that maticuoulusly say this.. the world is full of the opposite equal... x amount of pleasure from an object/emotion/being is also y amount of pain from the same...
X and Y being equal ;-)
Spiritual Masters are the ones we have to atleast please.. for they are near to God the most... until we cannot Become God merged; thier blessing is our true boat against the ocean of ignorance and pain that truly exists out there.

There was a recent discusion between JM and i, and we sort of got into an argument...
"What is important ?"
"The container or the Content"
:-) now if you have planted trees for fun; you would notice that; the outer shell is very important of the seed...
Break the outer shell; peal off the husk; or skin of a seed; be it a ground nut even; the tree/plant will not grow...
it is as good as dead... Decay Starts Infact... Imidiately after the protective shell has been violated...
Everything that is surviving on the planet is because of the soul; inside it...
The jars of nuts and beans that you have; which are not cooked or roasted; have a soul in them; and that i why; they can turn into a plant; if the right conditions are found.
Yet.. if the shell is tempred; the plant doesn't grow.. it looses it's soul...
similarly... i think that the container that hold something; is equally important...
I for Inspire
:-) every one needs a friend sometimes...
Inspiration also happens when there is trust between two...
Inspiration is about arming the receiver of your inspiration to work on his/her own...
You don;t take credit from it... only that which is blessed to you; by the reciver...
Where as... compared to compassion; Inspiration is a more mature word that we must embed in our daily lives...
With Inspiration... we leave the power to choose with the student being inspired... where as in Compassion; we take that power on ourselves... hence making the other dependant...
Yet... Compassion is the starting point to all Inspirations... to all forms of acts of good deeds...

Kill the mind.. that entity that makes us want and long unfruitful desires...
that killer of Joy... the murderer of feeling Content... the mind is like an evil spirit... it continously needs something to do... if it doesn't get a job to do... it will eat up the soul with negative thinking...
Bind it with ego and colapse its (the soul's) good deeds... Kill it with Inteligence... And over-throw its rulling and crown the soul as the king....
That is why Children are adorable and Close to God.... See God Above....

Not much can be summarized in life without the use of this word somewhere or the other... in fact... if evolution is evidence - that the soul is advancing to higher realms.. then Pain apparently is also increasing as time goes on...
Pain like the clay pot without being fired.. can;t retain water.. .it will just disintegrate... similarly... A soul without the heat of pain... will not be able to digest wisdom well...
Indeed all spiritual endeavors teach us in one way or the other to let go of attachments of the worldly nature.. and internalise to attain that bliss... but such a task is against all principles that the soul is sooo used to over many rebirths...
Ever since it started (life) survival has made a coating, apparent, on every soul. This gives rise to greed, jealousy, hate etc...
All that is Godly is lost when we stick to desires and ways of fulfilling them... Yet.. .all is gained when we shun our own selves... and realise the Spirit within... then all that is worth having is right infront of us.. and we attain a state of selflessness... a truely great endevour for all living beings.

Another name for 'Dharma" is righteousness and Dicipline.
Example...
No matter How good a car you have... It's useless without brakes...
No matter how many desires you have; they are useless without discipline... infact... they are a curse/pain/disease... without discipline...
You Love Sweet foods ? Well do you have them with Discipline ?... 3 meals a day of sweet meats only WILL give you diabetes after some time...
Time is the ruling factor... if there were no time.. then there would be no need for Dharma...
Time makes things weak and strong... Dharma makes things stable amidst these hardships...
It;s said that the last stage of time (Kaliyug) will be ruled by 'lust' and 'money'... so lets ponder on these two...
Money
The westerners who 'followed disipline' on spending.. and 'saved' as they earned.. are still doing well... they followed a simple Dharma - a brake mechanism to their desires and; they will suffer less... for they have savings...
They did not put those too in Sweet interest bonds.. to yield so called more interest... but just put their money in Savings... :-)
Greed is another reason where suffering occurs...
Even the plants ONLY take what they need...except for the weeds... Which BTW.. get uprooted :-)
Dharma of spending says save atleast a quarter of your earnings in Precious stones and metals; a quarter into the future (seeds in those days and children today), a qurater in Land and the last quarter to spend for daily expences...

How they all look the same acts... with different faces... ?
well The Kamasutra for example is about teaching the right ways of pleasure giving and seeking; it directly shows the imagination of various positions of power and pious.. shows the arts of use of various tools like kissing and caressing to better the experiance; On the contrary.... Dharma doesn;t bind you.. it guides you to an Ultimate experiance while alive..
Fast decisions on worldly matters... Fast growth; fast food, fast everything... consequence disaster...

Dharma Says...
Comence a worldly act.. as if you will live for a hundred years...(thus having ample time to think and rethink)
and a commence a Godly act as soon as possible... (as if this was your last day...)
So what is a Godly act ?
A godly act is void of lust, anger, greed, infactuation, jealousy, hate, sloth
A Godly act is Donation of food, medicine, clothes, spiritual books, donating of your time for wisdom sharing.
Also... a person who knows the scriptures.. and hence s/he becomes happy on any action that we do; that act becomes an act of Dharma... this mostly applies to saints and masters... when we can please true Masters, then our THAT act of pleasing them.. becomes a Dharma.
Dharma is about respect.. and Honor... loving our parents, you can;t expect your child to take care of you when you get old; and You yourself don;t do so; and have sent your Parents to Old age homes... ignoring them for they are a burden now...
Dharma is about right conduct... Don;t kill, don;t commit adultery; Don;t steal; Don;t lie... Yet.. Dharma is also 'flowing' and refined wtih great masters... with every new master that has come along... s/he has revised Dharma to cater for the necessary time...
e.g. Lord swaminarayan says...
It's better to quite an unpleasant truth
but its Not good to say a pleasant untruth.

yes... Trust... like a Baby trusts the Mother... the earth trusts the Sun; the markets trusts the currency...
Incidentally; Currency is nothing but a form of trust... to exchange goods in Good faith and trust with each other...
Trust is more important then Love... Trust is gained after much effort... and much satisfied beliefs between two... Trust is seeing i am you, void of prejudice and worldly discrimination's...
